ICT Technician – Level 3

Salary:  Grade 6 – SCP 19-24 (Actual Salary £24,799 – £27,905)

Hours:   37 Hours per Week – Full Time, All Year Round

The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced ICT Technician to help support the school’s IT/information services across all areas.

The successful applicant will have sound technical experience and relevant qualifications, including a Level-3 qualification in an ICT discipline plus Level-2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy. The applicant must have proven ability with PC and Tablet devices and a wide range of skill with peripheral hardware, managing and developing Windows-based L2/L3 networks, Wireless, Virtualisation (VMWare), Imaging.  The applicant must have sound understanding of ICT requirements within an educational setting.

The current network is VMWare 5.x/Cisco/MS.Server2012/MS.Windows7/10.  Additional technologies such as SQL 2016 and Exchange are onsite.  Experience of cloud based solutions (Google or Office 365) in an educational setting would be an advantage as this is part of the schools’ IT strategy moving forward.

Exam Invigilator (4 posts)

Salary: Grade 2 (point 3-4) Actual salary £9.36 per hour.

Casual Hours: Varied and flexible during examination months.

We are currently recruiting for Exam Invigilators to support in the delivery of exams. This is a perfect role for retired people or students who are looking for casual work that is flexible.

The successful candidates will contribute to ensure examinations are supported effectively and in line with agreed procedures and processes. Invigilators should be organised and reliable.
