OH-CAT Centre

Welcome to the Oulder Hill Community And Training (OH-CAT) Centre.

The Centre which is based in the old Sixth Form block hosts a large training and meeting room, a PC suite with 30 PCs and a large social area, plus two excellent outside areas for those odd days of Rochdale sunshine. The OH-CAT name is simple but effective and is the brain wave of former students Tom Plumpton and George Armistead.

Whist competing in the schools “Apprentice” competition, this savvy business duo came up with the name, logo and marketing strategy for the new Community Centre as part as one of the tasks. Staff were so impressed by their ideas that they implemented them for real. Well done and thank you to Tom and George who have ensured they have a lasting legacy here at Oulder Hill.

The OH-CAT Centre forms part of Oulder Hill’s wider aim of being the hub of the community, providing services and learning opportunities to the local community. Gill Corlett, OH-CAT Centre Manager provides a first class service to all who use the space and she would welcome contact from anyone wishing to enquire about the centre.

It is an ideal meeting and training space for local businesses, groups or other local educational establishments. Gill would also welcome any ideas for events which could be hosted at the OH-CAT Centre. Please read our brochure included below for more information on the centre and do not hesitate to contact us should you require any more information, or should you wish to make a booking.
