Year 7 Boys’ Football

– The Year 7 Boys’ Football Team recently played a quarter final cup match against Kingsway Park, running out 3-0 winners. Goals were scored by Josh Smith (2) and Ethan Brierley. There were some really good performances all around from the boys, who can now look forward to the semi-finals of the cup. Congratulations to: Jake Gretton, Josh Smith, Adam Hamid, Ethan Brierley, Alex Johnson, Harris Khan, Matthew Hill, Spencer Allen, Ethan Kwei-Sutcliffe and Mahdi Choudhury .

Year 8 Boys’ Football

– The Year 8 Boys’ Football Team played against St. Anne’s in the second round of the cup recently and were unfortunate to get knocked out of the competition after what was a very close game.  The team were beaten 3-1 in what were horrible conditions (it rained for the entire match) but played very well. The scorer for Oulder Hill was Edson Daio who nonchalantly slotted the ball past the oncoming St. Anne’s goal keeper when put through on goal by captain Maxx Wright in the second half.  Joe Oldham was voted Mr Pickles’ Man of the Match for some outstanding saves in the first half. The players involved were: Joe Oldham, Maxx Wright, Ethan Steel, Isaac Khan, Mohammad Qaisar, Tommy Coleman, Lucas Dowd, Dion Parker-Minchin, Edson Daio, Connor Marrow and Fabio Azevedo.
