Oulder Hill Community School and Language College is a very successful school and the largest in Rochdale. The school serves a large area in the west of the borough. A multi-million pound PFI refurbishment has provided state-of-the-art facilities for students, staff and the community. All at the school are committed to achieving the highest academic and social standards for students and to the well-being and continuous professional development of all staff. We have a very clear mission statement and positive values based on developing students’ character and culture. These values inform all that we do. IMPACT CENTRE MANAGER

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a talented individual to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people.  Your experience of pastoral care will place our learners’ welfare at the heart of the school.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills.  You will have the ability to problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.

You will have:

  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development in behaviour management training
  • Proven track record of securing a successful and positive culture.
  • Outstanding behaviour management practitioner
  • Up to date knowledge in behaviour management including national policy, behaviour management strategies, inspection findings and statutory requirements
  • A profound understanding of the elements which comprise effective behaviour management

Who we’re looking for

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills.  You will have the ability to problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.

You will have:

  • Degree level qualification
  • GCSE in English and mathematics at Grade C or above
  • Leadership experience in an Alternative Provision with children in a secondary school or other setting
  • Supporting children with special educational needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
