Examinations Manager

Salary: Grade 5 – SCP 12-17 (Actual Salary £19,623 – £21,664)

Hours: 37 Hours per Week – Term Time Only + 2 Weeks

The school is seeking to appoint an Examinations Manager to be responsible for the day to day administration of the Examination system (including practical examinations).

The purpose and objectives of the post will be:

  • Under the control and direction of the Assistant Headteacher take responsibility for the School’s Examination System and for the collation and interpretation of statistical information to analyse student performance.
  • To supervise, train and lead a team of Examination Invigilators to ensure the requirements of JCQ are met in relation to all public examinations.
  • To plan all aspects of internal and public examinations ensuring all examination entries are correct, a workable timetable is operated, students with examination concessions are catered for and examination venues meet the requirements of the examination boards.

Data Research, Design and Analysis Manager

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Senior Data and SIMs Manager to lead on data analysis to the School Leadership Team and Curriculum Leaders and to lead and manage the examinations and data personnel.

The successful candidate will oversee the collation of student performance data throughout all year groups and pupil reports to parents. They will lead the school’s Management Information System and possess excellent knowledge and experience of providing administrative support in collating and processing of data using school data analysis tools in order to enable teachers, school leaders and governors to utilise and act upon data in school.
